Just press down the center button, and sip directly from the 360 degree mouthpiece. Push the lid down to hear the pop..and poof it's open. Push it down again, and you guessed it! It's closed. A subtle indicator line clearly shows its open/close position. To confirm the lid is closed, ensure the center button is above the line.
